About the mentor:

Raquel Perez is a senior marketing manager at Esri and the founder Esri's Young Professionals Network (YPN), a prominent group supporting early-career geospatial professionals. Through her work she has impacted thousands of young geospatial professionals who credit YPN for shaping their careers, expanding their networks, and cultivating leadership confidence. Some notable milestones in the past ten years since YPN was created are:

Esri YPN has grown to a global community of 20,000 young GIS professionals so they can connect, learn, and grow.
Established 10 regional chapter meetups, giving localized networking opportunities in the US.
Offering mentorship pathways, helping individuals navigate GIS career growth.
Spearheading thought leadership for emerging professionals at events like the Esri User Conference and Federal GIS Conference.

Raquel’s passions include community and civic engagement, volunteering, and developing the next generation of GIS leaders.
