To help develop the best programs and resources for our members, we have established several working committees. WiGIS is an ALL-VOLUNTEER organization, so members are encouraged to volunteer for one of our committees if possible. No experience necessary!

Awards and Scholarships Committee

Meets via Zoom 1st Saturday of the month, 6am PT / 7am MT / 8am CT / 9am ET

If you would like to volunteer, a great way to start is to attend a committee meeting (or more than one) that you are interested in.

Committee meetings are posted on the Events Calendar. You must be a current, active WiGIS member (and logged into the site) to see the meeting details.

You can also let us know of your interest by contacting board@womeningis.org. In the body of your message, please identify which committee you are interested in and whether or not you have any special skillsets you believe would be beneficial to the organization (e.g. web development, marketing experience, sponsor relations, etc.)

Thank you!
