About the mentor: Katie Grillo is a GIS Web Technology Specialist. Her mission is to empower data owners to understand how they can visualize their information through maps and digital storytelling. Katie works full time for the City of Cambridge, MA. During her nights she teaches at the University of Richmond, Virginia and is a Geospatial Justice Facilitator for Trubel&Co. Katie is passionate about what she does and about sharing that passion with others. As a WiGIS mentor, she wants to encourage more women to be confident, authentic and true to themselves in their careers.
